The coupons can be redeemed online via the offer page of the respective run (Swiss Runners Ticket: on public transport to the running event | SBB), at www.sbb.ch/fahrplan, on the SBB app or at the ticket counter.

Take your two coupon codes (1 for the outward journey and 1 for the return journey) with the confirmation email from the race organizer to the nearest ticket counter and give them to the counter staff. They will book the journey you want and issue the public transport ticket directly for you.

Yes, each runner will receive two personal coupons which are valid for the outward and return journey to/from the race. Each coupon can only be redeemed once.

Two coupon codes are required to ensure a certain degree of flexibility, e.g. for arrival and return dates.

The procedure for redeeming and using the coupons is explained in separate instructions. You will find the instructions in the confirmation email of your registration or on the website of your running event.

Send the ticket to the race organizer by e-mail and it will then be cancelled. You will receive a new coupon code from the organizer to book the trip again.

Either the printed ticket or the electronic version on the smartphone must be presented at a checkpoint. Important: The Swiss Runners Ticket is valid in person and on the return journey only in combination with the race number. Please show both on the train without being asked. As with all types of online tickets, you must also be able to prove your identity with an official ID at all times.

The outward journey can take place from June 13 to 15, 2025, the return journey from June 15 to 17, 2025.

No. Your Swiss Runners Ticket is only valid on the calendar day printed on it. Each registration includes one outward and one return journey. The desired arrival or departure day can be selected during the purchase process. If you do not wish to make your outward or return journey in one go and on the same day, the code can be used for the first or second part of the journey. An additional public transport ticket must be purchased for all other sections.

Tickets can be purchased 1 month before the start of the event. The valid travel period is limited to a few days before or after the race.

The selected commuter ticket is valid for the entire calendar day selected for the journey. Make sure that you do not buy a supersaver ticket. Supersaver tickets are only valid for the train connection listed at the time selected. If you are traveling within a fare network, select the day pass. Otherwise, the ticket is usually only valid for a limited time (e.g. 2h or 3h).

The decision is left to the organizer. They can send the runner a new code as a gesture of goodwill. In suspicious cases (risk of misuse), SBB RailAway has the option of asking SBB whether a certain code has already been redeemed.
